4  Right to own opinion

The negative makes the positive stronger.

5  Makes me angry

Sad, because they're misguided.

6  Other

What they say has no bearing.  Your good deeds / bad deeds do NOT prevent or get you into heaven.   So
its all pointless what the street preachers say.

7  Right to own opinion

But they are annoying.

8  Other

I used to feel angry. Now I feel it keeps us focused and reminds us that the fight for our rights is not
over and we still must try to change the minds of people who live in ignorance

9  Other

Angry is too strong a word but it irritates me and is hard not to engage them.

10  They are wrong.

11  Makes me angry.

They're intolerance is masked by "so called" need to to spread the Word - Hypocrites!!

12 doesn't bother me

13  Right to own opinion

But they are annoying   :)

14  Right to own opinion

But what they are doing makes me sad.  Yelling is divisive.  Jesus taught love, not hate.

15  doesn't bother me

16 Right to own opinion

They as Christians feel right and above others but it is really an unhealthy use of religion.

17 Right to own opinion

18   All the multiple choice answers especially if they knew:

- That lots of good Christian straight people were among those they're shouting at .

- How scary it is for gay people to come to this event! They might think twice. I don't think Jesus would
support / participate in their act

19   Makes me angry

Would like to see city ordinance to prohibit them from being within 500 feet of any gathering.

20    Other

I think their funny.  I love to watch morons.

26   Makes me angry

Their entire stance is hypocritical.  They are preaching hatred and intolerance which is the opposite of
the teachings of Christ.

27  Other

They anger me and make me all too cognicant of how difficult acceptance and tolerance can be.

28  Right to own opinion

but do we have to hear them all day long.

29   Makes me angry

30  It hurts

31  Other

Its sad and frustating

32  Other

I feel so sorry for them.    They aren't helping anyone.  They're just making themselves feel better

33   Makes me angry

I don't preach to them about their beliefs and tell them they are going to hell, so I prefer they afford me
the same respect and not stand in judgment of me.

34    Makes me angry

35   Other

I do not go to their church and protest their beliefs., they should stay away on a day of pride for me.
It took me a long time to accept myself for who I am.  Now they should just leave me alone.

36  Makes me angry

Rude

37    Angry  Right to own opinion

I feel it is disrespectful and truly against God.

Free comedy hour.  I think that they are hilarious.  As long as the protest remains peaceful I don't
really mind them.  They have a right to their own opinions.

41    Doesn't really bother me.  Everyone has a right to own opinion

42   Other

SAD ...  Anger is an expression of fear.  Fear is a choice - some churches preach that fear motivates
change for the "positive".  Only love can change! And love isn't angry.

43   Makes me angry

I hate walking through them to get here.

44    Right to own opinion

While they have the right to their opinion I paid to come to Pridefest for Pridefest.  They shouldn't be
loudspeaking into Pridefest.  They have plenty of forums for their message.

45    Makes me angry

I just wish they would leave us alone.

Gather where you can project positive energy instead of negative energy.

49  Other

Where are they?

50    Makes me angry

51    Makes me angry

52   Other

They contradict themselves and the bible - God is the only one who can judge, also they cannot find a
bible passage that states we cannot be who we are.  The bible states to love one another as I have loved
you.  They are the ones expressing hate not love which will never bring people to Jesus.  I am a born
again Christian yet they are persecuting one of their own sisters in Christ.  It's not  right.

53   Right to own opinion

but they do not need to PUSH it on everyone who doesn't share the same opinion.  How would they feel
if everyone from Pridefest showed up at their church tomorrow holding signs telling them they were
going to hell if they walked in?

54    Other

They have the right to make a statement as do we., however the close proximity to this event and their
 use of amplification is inappropriate.

55   Doesn't bother me

What bothers me is how loud and intrusive they are.

56   Right to own opinion

57   Other

They are not trying to help anyone.  They are an embarrassment to the Christianity they claim.

58    Other

They have a right, but this is our time.  They are too loud.  If we stood on the street and condemned
them we would be arrested.

59  Other

I feel if preachers are going to minister I believe it should be done in love.  I do NOT feel the love of
Christ coming through.  I hear alot of condemnation.  Sure they say repent -even John the Baptist
preached in love and so did Jesus.  Here is something else to think about, being gay for the most part
is not a choice.  Do you really think we would choose to be hated?  The way the preachers come across,
God hates us!  If homosexuality is a sin then it is sin God hates not me.

60    Makes me angry .. They have a right to their own opinion.

AND  They preach to love all but hate us.  I do not preach my faith to them.  They should not preach to
me.

61  Other

If I wanted to hear their hateful banter, I would go to their church    ANNOYED  / SADDENED

62   Makes me angry

63   Makes me angry

It also makes me feel badly about myself even though I don't buy what they are saying.

64

Annoyed but I don't let it spoil my day.

65    Right to own opinion

The views expressed are often limited in interpretation of scripture.

66    Right to own opinion

 Doesn't really bother me.

67   Makes me angry, they have a right to own opinion.

It is a perfect example of the hypocrisy and bigotry typical of most organized religions.

68   Makes me angry

69    Makes me angry

Everyone has a right to their own opinion.    If the God they worship can only hate then they worship
 an evil God.

70  Other

I feel sad for them.  There's so much more to life.  I used to believe what they believe but now I
volunteer as a silent witness.

71   Makes me angry

Have a right to own opinion  but don't try to force it on me.

72    Makes me angry

They are hateful.

73   Other

Mostly I feel pity for these who focus on intolerance in a supposedly loving religion.

74    Right to own opinion

75   Makes me angry  Right to own opinion

76

I'm thankful that we have the freedoms to express all opinions.  Maybe we don't agree but we can
freely express.

77  doesn't bother me  Everyone has right to own opinion.

At age 57 I've encountered far worse hostility .  Equality will prevail.

78   Makes me angry

79  Other

They're just ridiculous and don't they have anything better to do on a Saturday afternoon.  There's
really no hope for them.

80   doesn't bother me

I ignore them altogether as if they aren't even there.

81  Other

I mean it makes me mad but if someone wants to be gay or etc.  That that's their life.  I'm cool
whether they are against it or not.

82    Makes me angry

83   Right to own opinion

but they should not push on others.
