When the ELCA voted down same sex blessings in the Lutheran church and refused to ordain gay lesbian and transgendered persons it hurt me. The church council voted down the RIC Have you found the Christian church helpful to you? My home church helped me through my mental illness and nervous breakdown which was caused in part by our church wide voters. Is there anything you would like to say to the church? I would like FULL acceptance in the ELCA. We cannot afford to overlook and hurt people regarding this important issue of acceptance. |
